Marine manhole covers are purpose-built access closures for ships, offshore platforms and other marine structures. They provide secure, reliable entry to enclosed compartments including ballast tanks, fuel oil tanks, fresh water tanks, cargo holds and void spaces.
Engineered for superior watertight and oil-tight sealing performance, these manhole covers maintain dependable tightness under severe marine service conditions. Manufactured in compliance with relevant marine industry standards, they can be customized to suit project-specific vessel requirements, installation constraints and classification society rules.
Watertight and oil-tight construction, preventing seawater, oil and moisture ingress/leakage for ship tanks and enclosed compartments
Marine-grade structure built with high-strength steel, featuring superior corrosion and impact resistance
Customized sizes, geometries, materials and surface treatments; OEM production per customer drawings
Classification approvals (CCS, ABS, BV, DNV, LR, RINA and more) available upon project request
Standard nominal opening sizes cover 450×350 mm, 500×400 mm, 600×400 mm, 600×450 mm, 800×400 mm, 800×600 mm.
AA / BA: Oval cover plate fitted with U-type lifting handles. Bolts are distributed along the full circumference, and the cover can be completely detached.
AB / BB: Elongated-oval profile designed for hatch openings with large aspect ratio. Equipped with U-type lifting handles and full-perimeter bolt compression.
BC: Rounded-rectangular construction with large R170 corner radii to eliminate stress concentration at sharp corners. Supplied with dual U-type lifting handles, suitable for rectangular hatch arrangements.
CC / CD: Oval cover plate with a hinge assembly on one side. The cover does not require complete removal; it can be flipped upward by releasing clamping bolts for higher-efficiency inspection access.
