Our F.R.P full totally enclosed lifeboat and rescue boat complies with the regulations of
SOLAS amendments and International life-saving appliance regulation (LSA) MSC.272(85)
& MSC.274(85). We can offer such fully enclosed boats with a capacity ranging from 12 to 150 people. Marine society class certificate of ABS, BV, CCS, DNV(GL), RINA and NK are available.
We can also customize full enclosed lifeboats according to the requirements of the shipowner.
The key design of the totally enclosed lifeboat is to have a watertight cover that can completely seal the cabin, preventing water ingress or external environmental threats. The hull of this boat is usually made of flame-retardant glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) or high-strength carbon fiber materials, ensuring a balance between lightweight and high strength 145.
They are divided into ordinary type and fire-resistant type. The fire-resistant totally enclosed lifeboat is equipped with a sprinkler system and an air supply system, and is suitable for high-risk scenarios such as oil tankers and drilling platforms.
The fully enclosed lifeboats must comply with the "International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea" (SOLAS) and the "International Life-Saving Appliance Rules" (LSA) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and must also be certified by classification societies (such as CCS, BV, ABS, etc.).
Capacity: Varies from 6 people (for a law enforcement boat) to 150 people (for a large lifeboat).
Speed and range: Lifeboats usually have a speed of ≥ 6 knots, while law enforcement boats can reach up to 30 knots, with a range of approximately 170 nautical miles.
